The campaign is called Child Rescue Alert and is run by the National Crime Agency and the charity Missing People with technology supplied by a company called Groupcall.
We can all help by registering with the Child Rescue Alert Team so that if a child is missing in our area more people will be aware thus raising the chances of saving a child from harm.
This is very easy to do: You can either text 'HERO' followed by your postcode to 85080 (this is a free text) or CLICK HERE to register online.

Puzzle Challange Day 10/05/201612th May 2016 - 9:39am
On Tuesday 10th May 2016 Highfield School had a visit from the Happy Puzzle Company who specialise in running educational puzzle workshops which aim to develop Mathematical / logical reasoning and thinking skills.
Almost all of Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students took part and were placed in groups of up to six to work on puzzles as a team, learning to cooperate with each other and taking turns. Most groups did around five different types of puzzle which included an optical illusion which helped to illustrate how everyone's minds work in slightly different ways.
Although some students were frustrated at not being able to solve all the puzzles most were very successful in the end, often with only a little guidance from staff. It was clear that the overwhelming majority of students were fully engaged throughout and enjoyed the challange expereince.
Highfield School have now ordered a large box of resources to use in Maths lessons and hopefully as part of a lunchtime Puzzle club starting in September.
