Below is a summary of complaints procedure at Highfield School:

  1. Stage One – dealing with informal complaints and concerns – Please contact school to discuss your complaint with the relevant member of staff, this may be the class teaching in the first instance
  2. Stage Two – formal consideration by the Headteacher (or other appropriate person) – Please make an appointment to discuss your complaint with the Senior Leadership Team, if you feel a resolution has not been agreed.
  3. Stage Three – formal consideration by the Chair of Governors (or other designated Governor) Please email the Chair of Governors Jayne Crosse if you feel it is not appropriate to discuss the matter with the Headteacher. (jcrosse@highfield.wakefield.sch.uk)
  4. Stage Four – consideration by a Panel of Governors
