SEN Policy Statement

 

All students at Highfield School are taught according to the targets identified in their Statement of Special Educational Needs.  Individual Education Plans are written and these relate both to their Statement and to the Annual Review targets.  Assessment of levels of achievement and ability is checked when a student is admitted to school and then monitored as part of an ongoing process.  All students have an entitlement to the National Curriculum.  All students are offered a wide range of accredited programmes of study in Key Stages 4 and 5 which lead to examination successes.
